What kind of church is Glen Allen Community Church?
GACC is a contemporary, user friendly church. GACC is Interdenominational, interracial, and intergenerational. We welcome people from all backgrounds.

What do you mean by contemporary?
By contemporary we mean the style of music, a more casual atmosphere, a non-liturgical service, use of technology, and culturally relevant teaching.

What happens during the services?
Our services include music led by a live band, entertaining and poignant dramas, and practical, inspirational messages.

What should I wear?
Wear whatever you are comfortable in, whether it be jeans and sandals or a shirt and tie. Our atmosphere is casual and relaxed.

Will I have to sign anything, say anything or be singled out?
No! We will not ask you to give anything, wear a badge, or say anything. At GACC, we allow you to remain as anonymous as you wish to be. There are confidential Communication Cards in each Information Guide that you can fill out to let us know that you visited us. We will not visit you or call you unless you request it.

What do I do when I come to GACC for the first time?

You will be greeted at the front door and given an Information Guide. Your children will be welcomed to Promiseland, our High Impact Children's Ministry, for infants through fifth graders. When you enter the auditorium, sit wherever you wish, and enjoy the music! There will be a screen set up in the front that will inform you of the ministries of GACC and upcoming events. During the service, the words to the songs will displayed on the screen as well as the message points.

Where do my children go during the service?
Your children won't want to miss our exciting new program, Adventures in Promiseland!
