GACC Promiseland Preschool

Glen Allen Community Church offers weekday morning programs for children ages six months through 5 years. Mom’s Morning Out is an enrichment program for children ages 6 months through 2 1/2 years and Promiseland Preschool provides educational development for 2 1/2 to 5 year olds.

The Staff at Promiseland Preschool and Mom’s Morning Out are experienced and caring. Periodic staff meetings allow teachers to collaborate providing superlative, developmentally appropriate experiences for your child.

Promiseland Preschool offers three-day classes (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) and two-day classes (Tuesdays and Thursdays), as well as a five day class for Pre-k students. Children are placed in classes according to age and each class is staffed with two teachers. Promiseland Preschool believes children learn best through play and offers a variety of activities and learning experiences.

Mom’s Morning Out provides a safe, secure environment where young children are nurtured in a setting with consistent and experienced caregivers. Parents may select any number and combination of mornings per week, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.

Promiseland Preschool is designed to provide each child the opportunity to grow intellectually, socially, physically, and spiritually. We believe children learn best in safe, exploratory environments, and it is our commitment to provide this environment to the children of our preschool. We also teach each child to be respectful, loving, understanding, and patient through our daily interactions. Simple rules and well-defined boundaries add to the child's feeling of security. Emphasis is placed on the developmental level at which each child is functioning. Promiseland encourages each child to reach his or her full potential and enjoy preschool.

Promiseland Preschool and Mom’s Morning Out admit children from 6 months to 5 years of age. To enroll your child, complete an application form.

Return with a $25 non-refundable application fee. All applications are processed in the order in which they are received.

Times

Classes meet from 9:00 am until 12 noon.

Promiseland Preschool and Mom’s Morning Out generally follow the Henrico County Public School Calendar.
