Helping Hands
To provide ministry opportunities to witness Christ's love by using the talents given us by God to bless others. We believe that the Body of Christ is strengthened by caring for people in need and through fellowship with one another.

Helping Hands

H.I.M. MINISTRY: The purpose of High Impact Meals (H.I.M.) is to reach out and serve others by offering meals and help during times of illness, bereavement, birth and other unique situations. If you would be willing to help or if you need any help please call Gloria Titus at 501.2316 or contact the Church office.

LAMB'S BASKET: Lamb's Basket feeds the hungry in the Lakeside area. Volunteers are needed to help distribute food on Thursday, April 28 from 9AM-1PM. We would like to see 50 families donate one jar of peanut butter or jelly once a month for a year. Drop off your non-perishable food items in the hallway for weekly collection. Sign up at the Information Center of call Carla Harris at 360.5635 for more details.

FEEDING THE HOMELESS: On Wednesday, April 20 at 5:45PM we will meet at the church to go to the Freedom House shelter. We need people to deliver a dish and help serve the meal. Sign up at the Information Center. Contact Sandy Grady at 467.5734 for more information.

CAR CARE OUTREACH: On Saturday, April 9 from 9AM-1PM volunteers from GACC will be changing oil, topping off fluids and performing minor repairs for people in our community who cannot afford it. You can help by inviting someone who needs this service or volunteering your time. Contact Irv Cook at 515.7810.

GREAT CLOTHING GIVEAWAY: The Helping Hands Ministry is holding their bi-annual clothing drive April 10, 17 and 24. Please bring your gently used, clean donations to the church on one of these dates and they will be delivered to those who need them most. Contact Carla Harris at 360.5635 for more information.

CHRISTMAS IN APRIL: Join us on Saturday, April 23 as we make an impact by donating our time and services doing outside work and light repairs to homes in our county. We will meet at the church at 8AM and carpool to the job site. We need at least 20 volunteers and no skills are required. Sign up at the Information Center. Contact Mark Dioszeghy at 852.7363 for more information.
